Much is made in the news about this new flu. Some are afraid they will have to take the vaccinations and they do not want to. Others are afraid that the vaccines will not be ready in time. Now it is just my opinion, that either way we will be much better off if our health is in peak shape for defending itself. There are many things we can do for this.
Trying to not be stressed is one of the biggies. So much is going on to keep us stressed. I think we should be very proactive in shutting out the world for at least a while everyday. For instance- Some are getting so worked up over Health Care, some don't want it and others do. All are riled up about their viewpoint. There are other hot buttons too but folks work their insides all up in a knot worrying about it. You have to let go of it for awhile. BREATHE...inhale...exhale...inhale...exhale Don't let the outside forces ruin your health inside.
You are the commander in cheif of your body. You can shut the door, turn the TV off, talk radio off. Bring Peace into your digestive system. Soak in the tub (put a few drops of Lavender essential oil in it)

You are the child of God
And that will never change.
Breathe that thought in and let go of the worldly worries.
Maybe now you think I am crazy but stress is a bodies worst enemy. It makes chemical changes that all bring illness to our door. None of this is worth dying for.
So let the stress go. And the next step, I think, is to make better food choices. You most likely know what they are. If not then you at least know what is not on the good health choices list, right? I will post some Cafe recipes from time to time to help you along. Try as far as possible to NOT eat out of a drive thru window.
And if you are like me this is NOT something you want to hear but try to get more exercise. More, whatever that is. Park a little further away than you normally do. Take the stairs. Go for a walk with your best sweetie or your best friend. Lucky you if you have both in one person!
Sleep well. Sleep is when your body has a chance to rebuild itself. If you are ill do not push yourself. Your body heals when it sleeps. It rebuilds cells when you sleep. I always take my calcium/magnesium, Limu juice, D3, etc at night. In my mind I imagine the Home Building truck just pulled up to unload supplies for the nights work and it all takes place while I sleep. It is nothing short of a miracle the way the body works.
