News From the NSP Convention

Last week I was in LasVegas for the Natures' Sunshine convention. The convention was held at the Paris Resort Hotel. I had the best room, it overlooked the pool. You could look over towards the Bellagio and at night you could see the dancing fountain. Wow, it was so neat! I waded through several thousand people to go over and see it but the view was just as good from my window- minus the several thousand people.

Anyway, the company brought out a new line of childrens supplements. A chewable enzyme, a multi vitamin, an antioxidant, a calcium with D3, and a probiotic. It really looks like a good program. And what surprised me was that they really taste good. So some say they do not have children but you can also use these when adults cannot swallow pills. All are chewable some are the gummy variety others are hard chews but all tasted good.

If you are interested and do not have someone else to order from you can go to my NSP website listed on the side bar of this Blog.

They also came out with a new weightloss product. I am going to try it and see what I think and I will let you know.

A final note about the childrens line. Children eat such poor diets these days and never has there been more need to be healthy. As this winter comes there needs to be great attention paid to making their immune system strong. And with all of the issue of childhood obesity that we read about. There are studies about vitamin D3 being low in these children with obesity and diabetes problems.

Now imagine me stepping up on my soapbox-

Folks, we are raising the first generation EVER that does not have a life expectancy as long as our own. Is this not horrible?!!!? And the reason for it is the diet that they are eating. My mom always calls it "killing yourself with your fork" sad thing is most of this food does not require a fork. It is generally in a cardboard box.
If you have children please consider changing their diet. Look up information on low glycemic index diet and follow it.
